As a tip, I was going to go down the stewmac blade route and made a sled to fit to my table saw, I deceided not to do that when I found that the mini saw blades in a dremel cut perfect frets slots once you have knocked the set off them.
I made a custom sliding saw table from linear bearings and MDF and mounted the dremel to the underside, I can accurately slot and entire fingerboard in about 30 seconds..

live in Liverpool UK and would like to find any evening/ weekend courses or similar which teach acoustic instrument building and repair. I know there are a few reputable luthiers around here but I am specifically looking for a course or tutor so that I can begin to learn the practice myself.

Sorry, have not visited site for a while - been away. Very interested in pics of dremmel set-up if you do not mind posting them. I started this thread, but because of work have not had much chance to progress very much, but hope to do so soon. Grateful for any advice.
