Guitar Wood Supplies ay our depotTonetech supplies people who make guitars and other stringed instruments with the timber and parts they need.  For the professional maker we do our best to make the purchase of high quality components hassle free.  We want you to spend your time making instruments.

The hobby maker may need more information and help to buy the right parts for their dream instrument so we try to give as much product information as possible and we are constantly adding to our "how to" section.

Tonetech was set up by Dan MacPherson, himself a professional luthier, and Bill Quinn, an amateur guitar maker and businessman.  Together we have all the experience and expertise to help you get what you need, when you need it.  We are constantly sourcing materials and adding new products to the site.  If you can't find what you need, contact us and we'll do our best to help you.

I received my order this morning and the indian rosewood fingerboard is amazing !, I have never seen such colour and figure before. I can't wait to see it on a finished guitar. Thank you.

 Hi Bill, We just finished building a FENDER TELECASTER ( All geniune Fender parts except for pickups which are JASON LOLLAR Vintage ). It has been re vamped to 52 specs using all your TINTS ect, and it will wipe the floor with what comes out of FENDER'S CUSTOM SHOP for £2700.00.

Hi,
just a quick message to say thanks for getting this order to me so quickly.
it arrived yesterday, and i noticed when i opened the package that there was a note apologising for the delay, and that the thinners had been upgraded and some filters and such had been added to mitigate for the delay due to the bank holiday and a slight delay with your supplier. so my particular thanks to Dan for that. it was unnecessary, but very much appreciated, as i didn't think it would arrive for a little while especially given your site suggests a five to seven day lead on these paints. once im through with these i'll certainly be placing more orders with you in future. So thank you for a service that has been better than expected, and i was already pleased to see that you not only stock these paints, but are perhaps cheaper than anywhere else..
