Nitro-cellulose is very much the traditional finish used on many musical instruments and is still used by many manufacturer's today. Excellent results can be achieved with our Nitro-cellulose lacquer and cellulose products. Pre-catalysed cellulose, known as Pre-Cat is an enhanced nitro-cellulose product which contains a pre-added catalyst to speed up drying times.

Shipping Aerosol Paint and Lacquer Notice

We use only approved carriers for handling our aerosol paints and lacquers as they are classified as hazardous products under the Dangerous Goods Regulations. Consequently, our shipping rates for these items are slightly higher than our standard rates. The economics improve by ordering multiple cans, or if ordered with other products on the site.

We cannot ship these products by air or by sea and therefore regretably we cannot ship to Northern Ireland, or to parts of England, Scotland and Wales where access is by boat or plane.
