Well made, solid, just had to oil the adjusting threads and use wet and dry on the base and circle cutter to remove any marks, so prevent any
scratching on wood surfaces in use. Used this to make and fit an acoustic rosette. Central pin quoted as 1/4 inch in instructions, seems closer to 6mm
(5,96 mm)by my vernier, and a 6 mm drill hole seemed slightly slack, so drilled 5.5 mm and used a 3 degree tapered bridge pin reamer for guide hole,
tapping the pin gently into it (not my idea, saw the suggestion in a review by Steve Toon I believe). I am glad I bought this.
