A cigar box guitar uses a cigar box as the body with a fretted neck and three strings. These have been around since the 1800s and are making a comeback. These have been made famous in the past few years by Seasick Steve, Tom Waits and Ed King of Lynyrd Skynyred. The cigar box guitar can be played like a normal guitar or by using a bottle neck slide (see below). Perfect for playing the Delta Blues. Choose from a selection of boxes and add the neck and hardware to make a fun acoustic/electric cigar box guitar.
